Elena Cerisciola (artist)

Elena Cerisciola, a passionate manga and comics enthusiast, started her journey in the industry after graduating from the International School of Comics. Her collaboration with the publishing house ‘Tora Edizioni’ began with the release of her first graphic novel, ‘Il Borgo dei Ricordi Perduti’. The story is set in Italy, specifically in the province of Macerata, and incorporates elements of local folklore. In addition to this, two of her illustrations can be found in volume 2 and 4 of the Italian sci-fi comic ‘Megarette’, published by ‘WeirdBook’. As a freelance cartoonist and illustrator, Cerisciola has also worked on projects for both American publishers and Italian cinema. Currently, she is in the process of drawing her new comic book/manga that will be released at the end of 2024 . Active on social media platforms under the pseudonym “cherishelle_”, Cerisciola documents the creative development of her projects through VLOGs and themed posts.

James Denk (artist)

James Denk’s work, made even more rare due to his low profile online, is coveted by collectors and fans. We at Skilletfire are big fans of his work and we are lucky that he agreed to provide the cover for the Boylon Heights graphic novel. More, please!

John L. French (writer)

John L. French is a retired crime scene supervisor with forty years’ experience. He has seen more than his share of murders, shootings, and serious assaults. As a break from the realities of his job, he started writing science fiction, pulp, horror, fantasy, and, of course, crime fiction. John provided the concept for the back cover of Gimme Five #1 with plans for more projects!

Joe R. Lansdale (writer)

Joe R. Lansdale is an American writer and martial arts instructor. A prose writer in a variety of genres, including Western, horror, science fiction, mystery, and suspense, he has also written comic books and screenplays. Artyom Topilin (artist)

Creepshow comics alum Artyom is among the best artists illustrating comics these days. We were very lucky that he gave us a Red Demon pinup in Gimme Five Comics #2.

Johan Paul Torres (artist)

Honorary founding member of the studio, JP, or Torpé, reigns as Red Rube artist supreme. And he’s got something new cooking at Skilletfire. We’ll let you know more about that very soon!
